Hi, I'm Rick. I am a web developer for a small media company based in the North of England.

I have always been interested in technology and software. I am a keen supporter of a few open source projects, after all, everything I ever wrote, I have made freely available on the internet.

I am always learning and trying to improve as long as there is space left in my head. I often find interesting, new things (interesting and new to me, at least) that I share on my blog.

I also like music and animals.

The name "Zip Zap Zorum" comes from Disney's adaptation of The Sword in the Stone. It is one of Merlin's spells.
